I wouldn't take my car to anyone in Wollongong anymore, unless BMW just for a service and checkup.
As for performance shops, not sure as I've only had mine for 2 months and haven't touched it yet as far as performance mods go, but all in good time.
Im sure the lovely peeps on here would have an idea on where to go though
Where did you get your rotors done? Did you buy them seperately Any pics

I just changed the rotors, pads and sensors myself at home. Just need to get it coded to remove the warning on iDrive for the brake service.
Dont have any pics of them sorry, but i can take some when i get home.
Ill be taking it to get a complete service in the next day or two, as i went to start it yesterday arvo and all i got was pump priming and a click. Didin't even attempt to crank over
It came up with a warning on iDrive saying the oil level was too low to start the car.
I put 2 litres of oil in it, the iDrive said it is now sufficient to start the car, but still nothing.
Tried leaving it for a bit, re-locking car and unlocking again, but nothing.
Battery has plenty of power, the windows, convertible roof, iDrive, dash lights, headlights all work fine. I'm thinking it may be the starter motor.

Most likely a dead battery mate, when you get low power you get weird faults popping up such as engine oil level low etc. The car is smart enough to determine that if there isnt enough charge that it will not crank, as doing so put excess wear on your starter motor (attempting to crank with a weak battery)

I bought a bosch S5 from my local bosch auto electrician, and its been great for the past 3 and a bit years and they retaila round $180. BMW are $700+...

Just make sur eif you get a new battery to have it registered, and if you change the battery spec to have it coded to suit.

Yeah BMW said dead battery too.
If I change the battery, can i drive the car to take it to someone to code it, or do i have to get it coded before i start it?
What do you mean by having the battery registered? Sorry, I am new to all this BMW stuff

Yeh coding battery is simply coding the controller so it matches the amp level of the battery you installed. Does this do it recharges the battery correctly. If you don't register or match the amperage the car may under charge the battery shortening its life. Ok if only short term

Yeah I'll be around, happy to drive to you if you can't drive.

One issue though, the app and wifi adaptor worked fine on my e90, last night I plugged it into my 355i and it took around 30 mins to do a scan and it found 0 modules to code...

Not sure why I havnt looked into it yet.

There are some other settings you can fiddle with in the app in regards to communication, might need to do something there.
