Many cars ago my wife had a rear end shunt from a boy racer. When she told me she was expecting me to go mad about the car, but luckily for me I caught myself before saying anything about the car and instead expressed my deep concern about any injuries she might have sustained, even though it was obvious she was ok yet my car was near totalled. I'm glad I made you guys laugh, maybe there is a new career for me. She isn't allowed to drive my e91 335i and wen if I did she already said no! Very happy with the outcome. I love her too much but I suffer from ocd and I would be going on about it until it was fixed.

What happens if you are in D with the handbrake on enough to stop it moving but accidently hit the cruise-control and tell it to resume 80? Is it smart enough to do nothing?

Have to be doing at least approx 20 to "set" it. Not sure about "resume"
