I understand what you're saying, and I was referring to the individuals who live in the DC/MD/VA area. I hope that those who have lost things recoup and that individuals can recover. Clearly, people can't fucking infer anything over the internet.

To simplify this for you: people in the Mid-Atlantic region tend to overreact when driving, endangering the lives of others on the roadways when inclement weather takes place. This is not detrimental nor to take away from what has happened elsewhere, since my post was specifically intended for the geographical region surrounding my location.

In the future, I'll be sure to spell everything out for you so the shit doesn't get lost in translation.

EDIT: Oh, and about the news part, same goes for that, as well. We get serious weather, we lose power, we do our best to recover.

We got plenty of hail, also. And major flooding. People actually had to be tug-boated out of many spots/ravines. But it is mostly done for, thankfully.

Lots of people don't have power though. For example in my county (Montgomery) almost 5,000 lost it in about an hour. Hopefully they get it restored soon.
