What's suspicious to me is... If he's only 30 minutes from you, why did you ship it? Didn't want to meet in person?

Honestly no ones input online will mean anything. IMO these threads are pointless. Only the two of you will know exactly what happened.

Someone here is lying. The pics on the first post are way different from each other. There is no way this had to do with shipping. Someone needs to come clean and figure it out. Deals like this are going to turn this forum into shit.

I'm trying to be honest and trying to work something out as mutual as I can, but haven't gotten a response back directly and involving the entire forum really won't solve anything if you can understand what I'm saying in that regard.

The packaging condition was described to Jewel. I told him the shipment came fine, with no outside damage or issues that were apparent. It was a USPS priority square box with the Cobb AP original box and peanuts. Either way I don't want to involve other parties I responded to Jewel directly and told him both sides of it which I understand. I'm even willing to deal with it in person face to face versus text, phone or via a forum which will in my opinion not find a resolve to anything.

I texted Jewel over a day ago with no response back. Not sure if that implies anything or if that's how he wants to deal with it.

Agreed. No point in this thread as there is no real evidence either way. Someone just needs to come clean.

I've been on the other end of this where I bought an escort radar detector which was sold as "like new" but was completely scuffed up when I pulled it out of the packaging.

I have always gone over the top in being upfront, honest and clear with any sales. I never wanted to be the guy on the other end being hosed. I hope this works out.
