I went down to Anaheim at around three yesterday to buy and install my Logic intake. Max was there to greet me and talk to me about the intake while my car cooled off. Phuc was also there to just shoot the shit until it was time to install. Both Max and Phuc were incredibly knowledge about the cars and the install was a breeze. After the intake was in the car Max and Phuc took the time to help me do some brake duct mods. We popped out part of the brake duct tubing as well as the little plastic cover that block up half of the bumper's opening. Max took bout two hours out of his day to help free up some ram air for me. I highly recommend taking a trip down to Logic and talking to Max. His intake definitely in not in the wrong place. It certainly is not taking only hot air in. I have already noticed improvement in throttle response and it seems my oil temps are slightly lower under normal driving conditions this morning (It usually gets up to 250 degrees, did not make it past 230 this morning). The car does feel a little stronger and the intake sounds awesome especially while cruising at around 3k rpm. Go down to Logic and check this thing out. Max is a great guy. I want to thank him and Phuc for all their help yesterday afternoon.

Hahaha. Yeah it was early when I typed that up. It's embarassing how hard I struggle to type at 7:30 in the morning. Joking. You guys were a great help though, seriously.

Hi,

the first power curve shows a maximum gain of 12whp and 20 lbs of tq!!! The Last graph shows a gain of 8whp and 18 lbs of tq over the Bmc filter!!! At speeds above 40mph It should get better because of the increased airflow from the ram air. That is something a Dyno cannot duplicate. Hope this helps.

Best Regards,
Max-

I have not seen any of those kits on cars we have worked on or have installed the HVI's here at the shop. We asked around but nobody seems to have one nearby.

We have tested with forge diverter valves and they fit perfect! You can check out the pics on page 1.

Having the HVI installed on a car with aftermarket DV's make the blow off sound. Even stock DV's still sound similar.

If anyone is willing to try it. Please let me know and we can make the arrangements.

Best Regards,
Max-

The HVI still gets the same cold air without any of the fuss involved with installing other brands. Here are some key differences that come to mind.

1. No cutting required
2. Hassle free install, aprox 15 mins
3. 0 risk of sucking in water and possibly destroying your engine.
4. No need to remove the bumper
5. Can be taken on and off easily for trips to the dealer.
6. No need to remove support brace that attaches the frame to the body. (e92 models)
7. No check engine lights
8. Sound of the turbos spooling can be easily heard from inside the car while driving even with the windows up.
9. The HVI only weighs 1.47 lbs! Not adding 9 lbs of steel to the front of your car
10. The HVI is made from the highest grade materials. (6061 aluminum) not steel.
11. Aluminum has superior heat disipation. Unlike steel that will continue to retain heat after it gets hot.
12. Smooth transitions. No excess bends that will slow down air flow and decrease throtle response.
13. No need to add foam because of rattling issues often associated with some other brands.
14. Mandrel bent one piece design, not welded together piece by piece
15. Dyno tested with proven results with many of the top piggy backs and plug and play units.
16. Nice clean finish that blends perfectly with the engine bay. Very stock/stealth appearance.
17. Cad designed Laser cut brackets. Not random pieces of steel welded together.
18. black oxide grade 8 bolts provided or strength and stealth look
19. Easiest aftermarket intake system to install hands down

I can keep going, but most of the key points are covered on page 1. I hope this helps.

Best Regards,
Max-

Hi Matt,

I did not see your post till now. Thank You for the kind words. it was my pleasure helping you out! We were so slammed with work that your stay was a little longer then expected. I am glad the HVI is working out for you. Enjoy your new mod in good health!

Best Regards,
Max-
