She disappeared from AISLive not too long ago but it looks like she's tracking on Sailwx now...

Given the position and adjusting for the delay in reporting, she should be very close to reaching the Atlantic.

Well boys, looks like she left England yesterday according to W/W site. Gonna hit the eastern seaboard in about a week!!!

And with any luck will be in NY 2 days later.

This is very painful. But I am sure it will be that much sweeter as soon as we take delivery!

I guess it depends how fast they process your car. Since you are basically right at the port, I wouldn't expect it to be too long.

After it lands in NY, I am hoping it will be about 10 days for my car to be ready for pick up in Boston.

I just found out from my dealer that it will take 2 weeks to get from Halifax to Waterloo, Ontario! Most of that is taken up by CN Rail loading and unloading the car(s).

This just adds insult to injury - we pay $2K for PDI, etc. and then it takes CN longer to get it here from Halifax than it takes it to get here from Germany!

Oh well, need to be patient ...

Yea, I am not making an aggressive assumption because it has to get here from port. By the time it is received, then prepped and transported, I dont see how this could take under a week. Just my opinion. The last thing I want to do is be like, yea it will take two days, and then have it take 10 days!

I have heard alot of posts about the train (CN Rail) after it gets here. But not sure if ours will be transported via truck instead. Any thoughts on Rail v. Truck? (US delivery)

"At Preparation Center
Depending on how much time has lapsed between your ship docking and your car getting off the ship, it may take a while to show up at the Vehicle Preparation Center. A lot of wait times in this area is due to the number of cars ahead of yours, and the time it takes to actually wash off all the foreign soil of every vehicle that comes off the ship. Generally, this takes about 7-14 days."

Yeah, I suppose it could very well take that long. I wasn't expecting it to be like 2 days. I was really hoping that it would arrive by the end of next week (Saturday, March 29).

Thats about 5 weeks after I placed the order for mine.

And that also means that it would be five days from when the vessel landed in NY on the 24th.

Damn, I have NEVER counted days so many times in my life! Only a bimmer can do this to you
