No codes that I am aware of. If the codes are there and my BMW dealer should find them, I have no idea how the plug got unplugged. It must have happened while I was installing my Black Lines.

Not at all, although if the exhaust silencer flap went bad it's warranty might be voided. But if it went bad and was always open that would be a good thing.

The exhaust flap is meant for noise silencing purposes. It's ok to open it up. All you get from it is more noise.

A quick question about the golf tee mod...

I can just stuff a 7/32 bearing in the rubber hose and then connect it back to the needle? this way the rubber hose isnt hanging? or do i just stuff the rubber hose with the 7/32 bearing and then put a cap OVER the needle??

btw...how good does the zip tie method work?

Zip tie works just fine and it's easier to do. I had to use one of the smaller ones I had for my R/C cars; the ones I have for my home theater stuff didn't seem to constrict it enough. Of course, you could always just kink the hose and zip tie it.
