Who Hates Waiting for their new Bimmer?

I waited to take delivery of the car, it got there, and I couldn't drive it cuz I didn't have winter tyres.. it sat in my garage, then I shipped it out and I'm waiting to take delivery again...

but at least u get the joy of receiving a new car twice!

I am officially in a depression again. I got so excited about my car being on a ship but I still will have to wait at least another two weeks before I get my car! This sucks. Cannot wait to get into the drivers seat!

Everyone that has ordered a car knows what you are going through. Taking delivery of my car was the most anticipated event of my life! But as others have said, the long wait makes it even sweeter when you finally get it.

The wait is definately torture, but it also doesn't help going on this forum and making you buy mods before the car even come in...You get the mods delivered to your house and the cars not even there...Do you know how hard it is to look at the aftermarket products that you bought for a car thats not even physically there!!!!!!!!!!! But I found that this forum helps a little passing time, and also hurts the wallet because your always getting the itch to buy new mods for the car!!! The wait is not fun!

+1 I have already ordered some 19" and they should be here at the end of the week! Then I will really start getting antsy! It also doesn't help when the weather outside is perfect for cruizing around town!

My car is been sitting at the stoopid Vehicle Processing Center in CA for like 10 days now. I have no idea why its taking so damn long to get it on the damn truck. So pissed off!!

Dealer just called and said that my car left California 4 days ago so should be here any day now.

My car arrived to the U.S. today from the ship....Dealer told me it would be another 7-10 days and I should be driving it! Pretty darn excited!

you guys are lucky

I ordered my car for the first time in early February then cancelled it
then reordered it again early march and canceled it again
and finally ordered it for the third time late march but didn't make it on the may production
so instead of getting my car in april i'll be getting it either late june or probably early july :S

hows that for a wait ???

What's worse is I haven't even gotten a chance to order my car yet. I'm still trying to sell my Cobra first.

But wait, MeEmZ, are you saying that production is backed up all the way to May? I thought production usually started in just a couple of weeks. That would be ridiculous if you had to wait 3-4 months. I thought it was usually around 8 weeks.

I was fine with waiting when I ordered, but now that I know the car is buillt, I just want it to be here. Waiting sucks.

Wait 3.5 months to get the car.
Drive it for 2 weeks.
Wait for _____ weeks for shipment and redelivery.

Patience has to be a virtue when you order for ED. That said, the cost savings is worth it.

Due late May/early June.

Hope it doesn't take any longer than that, I really want to drive it in early summer!
