So is the pump variable pressure? Doesn't make sense why I was quenching down low before...
I guess all systems are some what different.

From what I understand the pump is controlled by pwm, not pressure controlled necessarily but the end result would be lower pressure and worse atomization through the nozzle. It is supposed to start ramping at 10 psi and I don't know what the ramp rate is, so it might not be doing much until 25 psi

Thanks for the explanation hooper, makes sense now.

My 300 psi pump just blasts all at once when requirements are met. Guy from AIS was actually telling me how each manufacturer varies on the amount atomized from the nozzles. Some spray more, some spray less given the same size... Would be cool to see this in a test.

Wanted to update now that i have a few more miles on it.

day to day driving i have noticed mph has come up and on the last road trip i seen 970km (600 miles) on a tank with 120-150kph 75mph-95mph) speed range over the coquihalla highway here in BC. The best part so far was the temp was 32c (90f) and i noticed no power drop off like i would have with the stock cooler. So far I'm very happy with the setup.

Talking about the coquihalla by the way.

Zero drop off in power and i was pushing hard to try and get it hot. Crazy how much of a difference it makes.

We should do a simultaneous comparison with a stock car and then a tuned car vs the Helix and see how it compares to ambient. Supernoob will have to buy in on it and can borrow my dongle with the tablet.
