The Stage 1 speakers' improvement in sound quality is vast in both types of cars also. The test car that we installed a Stage 1 speaker set and subwoofer system in was a 328i wagon with standard audio, and when we were done with it it would blow any L7 car out of the water in both sound quality and bass. (And you'd never even know anything was touched if you just looked around the car with the radio off )

I wish I could. I've been forbidden from giving any details on the system until it releases.
I can tell you that in my opinion, it is the coolest subwoofer that we have developed for any vehicle, ever.

I'm confident that anyone in the market for a sub system for their e90 will jump on this thing when they see the first pictures.

Stage 1 is very close to release and the S2 amp will be right behind it.

The dual exhaust on the 335i and M3 got in the way. We're working something out though.

The 335i doesn't have the same under-floor tub that the sub sits in. The tub in the dual exhaust cars in only an inch or 2 deep.

No 335 option Back to modifying the oem subs I suppose, or turning my trunk into equipment storage. Then the wife will complain there's no room for bags so we have to drive her car on trips.

The price is high, but it is what you have to pay for something custom made for your car (on this case your specific model).
You are not getting a generic box... I just can't understand why they didn't work something that would work for both the 328 and 335 this would have brought down the cost on R&D... |
