I just stopped caring to be honest. My grand national has taken most of my attention and time.

Hi, I would like to sum up my experiences with ECU mods. My updates have been made few years before in Germany (Wintertuning). Honestly the difference was about 0,75s in acceleration from 100-200 kmh. Car feels a little bit lighter and the rew limiter is moved at 7300 rpm.

Also the top speed limiter has beed removed. Together with manifold OBX theese mods were really noticable

Are you sure speed limiter has been "removed"?

I have dug through the code and there's no way to "remove" it with tuning changes. The only way is to rewrite the program.

Otherwise, the max is 255kph - because the speed limit is an 8 bit value and the highest it can be set is 0xFF.

Tuners who claim a delete are lying unless they've disassembled the souce code and bypassed the limit by hand. Otherwise, there's no removing it - only increasing it up to 255kph.

I heard that tuners in Germany have much better results because they have more experience with N52 330i's.
Doesn't a version of the N52 come stock with 272 hp?
