I have a couple of questions for you:
- How many miles did the car has?
30000
- What happened with the steering wheel?
peeling off
- Any comments of the owner regarding his former "detailer"?
not sure
thanks

What is going on with the plastic cover of the steering wheel in this pic? I originally thought maybe it was halfway dressed, but its not even cleaned yet, plus it still looks the same in the "after" pic. Im guessing its just worn out?
yea, like the rubbery lining was wearing off

Great work, but what a shame...

Firstly, excellent work considering the neglect that poor car has seen. Secondly, no offense as you probably know the owner, but how can anyone let such a fine machine get so beat up? I know everyone here knows how special the M5 is, but perhaps it should be made clear(er) to the owner. I hope you gave the owner a nice but firm scolding.

Bmw may cover that under warranty, tell him to take it to the dealer. I know when that rubbery stuff came off of the door handle on my dads old x5 they replaced it without a problem.

Just saw this post. Great work ScheerSpeed!!

I know these situations keep you professional detailers in business, and I really respect your work, but, my God, how can someone let a car like that get so crapped up?!?
