I can agree the car sounds a bit rough in the video. The downpipes add a pronounced 'metallic' sound at idle and the combination of a cold start with being in a large enclosed area that echos make things seem really loud. Once the car gets out of the car-park and the idle drops it gives you a more accurate sound. I can say, however, that the Borla has a much smoother sound over the stock exhaust with RR DPs, which is what I was hoping for. You can see by the amount of exhaust fumes in the video that flow has been seriously increased over stock so I guess its just part of the ball-game.

Anyway, find me a Mustang that sounds like this thing does on that 3rd rev

Maybe post another vid after its "broken in" for about 2 weeks. Also, the garage could be adding some echo and weird sounds back to the video. Try to post again in a different location and closer to the car. I looked at it again,..still not feeling it..

Maybe after a bit I would change my mind. You definitely picked good quality exhaust in Borla.

I've had everything on the car for over 2 weeks so its not a break-in thing. I'll do another video outside of the garage and closer to the tips to give a more accurate sound, that's a good idea.

I'm pretty happy with the quality of the Borla unit. I've heard a few other setups with catless downpipes that were CRAZY loud. The 'rough' sound you are hearing in the video is almost entirely from the front of the car. The downpipes are quite loud at a 1k+ idle, but the Borla is really tame - maybe 15% louder than stock was at most. I can hear this rough sound from the front of all 335s, its just much much more pronounced when you get rid of the primary cats.

OK,...MUCH BETTER. Sounds nice. Maybe it was the way you had the car in the garage and the position of the mic.

The sound is a little too rough, to me a bmw should sound more clean? I dont know like 2007_E93 It's hard to explain.

But if you like it, then more power to you.
BOTH my Cobras take offense to that

I definitely likey the sound , just wouldn't do it to my car personally since I'm looking for something a little more streetable on a daily basis

It's not bad to be loud for mustangs, but I think a BMW should sound a little more refined. The exhaust here would probably get it's owner more then a couple fix-it tickets.
