yeah, I mean, if you stop it's the same situation, still jail. After the experience though I am always a little weary about going real fast.

I'll let you know in about 6 weeks (after mods installed). We have a track day scheduled for mid-May - I'll make sure to have a GPS unit plugged in

I think I recall someone posting a picture of a GPS unit indicating 175.x MPH in a Dinan tuned 335.
The car feels way more buttoned down now that the Stage 3 susp. is in place. I think it would feel quite serene at over 170. I'm not going to say where I did 158, but it is an almost brand-new turnpike that is lightly traveled except during rush hour. I got my '05 C6 Z51 6MT to and indicated 180 on it one night at about 230 AM, there wasn't another car in sight for many miles. No potholes. If I'd seen a state trooper I'd have stopped, since running from one in Texas is a felony (bye bye law license) and they have radios, helicopters, tire strips, and planes. Plus, a lot of the time you'll get a halfway cool trooper who will just yell at you for a while, tell you how stupid it is to go that fast, and write you up for 99 (happened to me before when going over 100 in aforementioned C6 ).

And going 180 isn't? In California anything over 100 is a felony. Luckily the only speeding ticket I got was in Arizona 108 in a 75. But In AZ Anything over 85 is a misdameanor, and there is no felony for driving too fast.

I think it may be. It looks like about 180, But I dont know anyone to have gone this fast. It may have been someone who took out their gauge cluster and just moved the speedo all the way over.
