How much more effort is required to close the trunk lid with these? Do they put any excess stress on the trunk shocks?

I gotthatzumzum about a pound more effort (my sister runs this kit on her e92) no excess stress. This kit is also adjustable meaning you can adjust how strong the kit will be. If, for example, later you install a rear wing on your car... Or if later you get a carbon fiber trunk and need to lessen the force.
