^ not bad for its first time out. There are a few on this forum that don't understand how challenging it is to get these cars going fast. It takes much more than a certain tuner.

The car will go much faster, I'm sure. Just need to get everything working perfectly and the meth will help. I was seeing 3-4mph increase when I turned the meth on.

What did the car do on the dyno?

I highly recommend the Mickey's I'm running. Slight gender roll near the rockers and they fit nice. Plus you can drive to the track.

Oh, and much thanks for the quick EGR plate shipment. That saved me. I had a serious time constraint and the part arrived early! Thanks again!
Best of luck!

At a minimum, the tune and turbo and exhaust upgrade.
Also recommended is intercooler upgrade and race pipe kit.

I've asked the owner for stock stats, I don't currently have that info.
Update: Customer never ran the car at the track in stock form but we have another customer in the area with stock turbos that can run at the track soon hopefully.

Vacuum controls the boost and exhaust gasses feeding the turbos

All tunes are prepared by Jarek at JR Auto Performance and tested on their in-house dyno. Jarek shares the experience and cooperation of German companies to make tunes better.

You're right.

Can you repost the slip? Or PM me it. I can't see it on phone or laptop for some reason.

Also, did you at least get to smash one of the broads?

Finally get to see it, thanks. That's a good number for a first run and no meth.

Did I miss the Dino numbers because the slip doesn't show a time reflective of 400whp, 600wheel torque?

Dyno's for this car have not been done yet but just curious, what numbers are you expecting to see from a car with stock run flat tires?

Great to see this. It would be pretty cool for the owner of that car.

Did anyone catch how many times they said "track only?"

Based on the 60', stock run flats aren't the issue, that car is down on power. Would be interesting to see what it does with the fixes that you said have been done.

Unless of course it was run at a 5000' elevation track at 100F

Im with Hooper and Searcher, my car has the RENNtech/Lenny Wu program along with Bohl Performance Dpipe and WAGNER IC and 3 " exhaust all the way thru 3" Ys and turbo mufflers with 4" tips and i got 340 whp and 474 wtq. I believe Tdi did something like 11.89 on his car. Tell the owner of that Diesel that the noise level is so minimal you wont hear it in the cabin and not so much outside(the only thing you'll hear is the turbo whine Something is wrong that car should be closed to 11 or less.

BTW I saw the video thanks for sending it thru. Gracias

Andrew the run flats are the issue with the ET. I can understand a slow ET and 60ft due to the tires, but not the mph.

A 400whp/550+wheel torque automatic should be 117-121mph depending on track elevation and air quality.

I look forward to updated numbers both dyno and 1/4 mile.

Great episode but I expected better performance.

Can't believe the EPA didn't blow a gasket over a TV episode that blatantly disabled/bypassed the emission components. Off road only blah blah but apparently that isn't a valid excuse when selling emission defeating products/tunes.

Well I think this is as good as its going to get with this base tune. 12.56@110mph 60ft was 1.77 launching at 1700-1800 rpm.
A pinched vacuum line does make a difference.

Add in some meth for that "track only vehicle" and you'll be gaining another 2-4mph on the trap, maybe hit some flat 12s or high 11's.

I launch the car at 2200 RPM, seems to dig fine with that, and I only have some all season Michelins.
