I ask becasue it's fun, it's the internet. My thread isn't the first, and my life is not run by e90post, so don't worry, I know how to think for myself.

And if you look at my signature, I'm well on my way to making it *my own*.

I don't have pictures of my rims yet...because they are on order. Your turn, pics of your suggestions.

I have conservative 35% tint all around on my 330i that has Power rear and manual side sunshades. The effect is that with the shades up, the rear looks like it has 20% tint. With shades down, the windows are uniformly dark.

The benefit this combination affords me is that the interior seems a bit cooler, and the tint is not dark enough to obstruct night time rear view, nor does it look so dark that it would beg for a ticket.

Feels cooler, looks cooler, and I was told it does a better job of filtering out UVA/UVB. The sunshades do not do this.

p.s. You can still SEE the sunshades from the outside with the 35% tint.

I have them. Its not silly. I like the look of tinted windows, the shades alone dont do that. With both of them combined, it looks very nice and does a good job of keeping the heat out and adds privacy. My tint is 40%, I wasnt going to do any thug like limo crap.

LOL. Jaws 1 and Jaws 2. Poldim, would you mind some time posting photos of your interior? I've always wondered what that Poplar trim looked like. It's difficult to tell from the BMW brochures.

I think I've decided to get...a rear spoiler! I just need to take my time and save up for it.

This is kinda a turning point for me because my last car with a tail spoiler on it was my '89 Prelude 4WS! A long time ago! I really have grown to love the smooth look of all my cars' trunk lids w/o any spoilers, much like those that debadge like the that look. But somehow, someway, I think the spoiler adds a touch more of sport.

I think with a lower stance, rims and blacklines, it would look great! Thoughts?

Scroll up 5 posts and you'll see what the OEM spoiler looks like on my car. If you indulge your mind's eye and not focus on the "lines" between trunk and spoiler, the overall effect is that there are fewer angles on the trunk's edge AFTER the rear spoiler install. Gives it a very clean look IMO.

The ACS rear spoiler, though similar, sticks out the sides too much; doesn't look factory.

What about the M sport carbon fiber spoiler?

I'll take a few pics once I clean the car. Its filthy. I havent cleaned out the interior in two months, but the all season floor mats have done a good job of keeping the dirt mostly on them.

I like it but I think it would be too *extreme* for my car because of the CF. My rims are going to be silver color, so no help there! I like the shape and design of the M-Sport spoiler better than OEM, to bad it's only available in CF.

Mods are infinite as more and more aftermarket companies get their hands on E90's, wait awhile and the're will come new mods and tricks you can apply to your personified E90. I'd like to say, keep your mods within good taste of the forum. But who listens...

Have you considered tinting in addition to the sunshades?
Can you add tint with the sunshades? I'm wondering if the shades are in the way and the installers would not be able to apply the tint. I know they go up and down.

There is none out that I can find...I cannot find bilstein's yet...I'm also trying to stay away from any front lip, especially with the car being lowered.
