Regardless, you're not supposed to for safety reasons as well. The airbag can go off (I know, what are the chances) and you can cause injury to yourself. I know that sounds ghey, but barring the safety reasons I think it looks stupid too. But hey, that's just me. I think holding the wheel at the 10 and 2 makes people look really stressed or something. I'm really relaxed with my driving position.

Last set of instructors that told me to hold it at 9 and 3 were all the guys over at the M School.
