+1, with that type of setup I am sure you would see huge gains....
On another note, on that setup you would see gain with the scoops as well....

I was trying to say that with that dyno setup you would see gains with the scoops since it has lots of air flowing through....

Was there a reason why the pull was done in 3rd gear?
Was the load closer to 1:1 in 3rd than in 4th?

Good question. My car is a 6AT, and with this load-bearing dyno doing repeated pulls in 4th gear causes the car to overheat (it did this bone stock) even though it has an oil cooler. It would probably be fine on a Dynojet, but on the Mustang it's just too much.

The BMC air filter is in the mail on its way to us now. We'll perform another round of testing once it arrives.
If Terry wants to come by and test his BMS air filter during this session, he's more than welcome to do so. I'd also be willing to test the ITG filter if they want to send us one for this use. |

This will be the most comprehensive N54 drop-in filter comparo test to date.
Hope someone can front up with an ITG filter also. Well Done !!! .

Agreed, I think that you notice a bigger difference when the car has more HP/TQ because of the Piggybacks / Dinan upgrades.
Looks like a winner! Quote:

The tests are conducted at Harman Motive in Torrance. I'll let you know when it's going to happen, if there's enough lead time for you to show up. Right now we're just trying to squeeze the test in among all the other appointments.
