Three pin connector center pin is not used. (two wires)
On the car side the brown/white wire lines up with the
blue/white wire on the ibs side. Gray or off white wires line
up on both sides on the other side.

brown white looks green white in picture maybe I am color blind.

I would have to cut the wrapping on the main cable to get that
end free and I am not going to do that . The end that I am holding
in the picture is the ibs end so the connector you need is the female
analog. I have already spent hours on this.
Its a keyed connector so its impossible to put it in wrong as long
as you put the wires on the right side you should be OK.

sorry to bring up this old thread.

But I am having exact same issue on e90

it's the same green red cable above with a gray wire that appears to be missing from that bundle.

It appears my car did not come with the IBS cable nor the bit serial data interface end so I am not sure why the car is asking for it.

This forum has helped me out a number of times and im hoping you guys can come through yet again! Even though this is probably a really stupid question...

Alright so i was working on my car today for about 4 hrs. I had the car doors open just to get some air in there and didnt notice the interior lights were on (stupid, i know). So after i was done, i went to go turn the car on and drivers seat had barely any power, so i thought ruh roh, batterys dying. Shoved key in ignition quickly and tried turning her on, there was a click, i got power to everything, could hear the fuel pump, but car would not crank. Shortly after that, the abs light and dsc light came on. So i knew battery wasnt dead, did some research on here and it could possibly be the IBS sensor, so i look in the trunk and what do you know, the blue wire for the IBS is disconnected. Why? Beats me...

Anyways, i cant figure out where the hell the blue connector for the IBS in top right corner of picture, connects to. I think this may be my culprit. I thought it connected to the other circled one, but it doesnt. PLEASE HELPPP
Hi I have a similar issue where airbag sign in on. Many posts suggested me to look to the batter. On checking the battery I realised I have the same terminals open like in your pictures. How did you resolve it. Pictures of both wires below, red and blue wire from the red big wire(+ver I guess) and the other from negative terminal wire [IMG][/IMG]

Looks like your looking at the shipping wire for deep sleep mode and not the
IBS wire which is in the other bundle.
The IBS is on the negative terminal of the battery there is a power cable and
a cable the BSD cable come off it .
