6IX-F10-N52, you need to chill out. Hass has literally spent hundreds if not thousands of hours dissecting these processors. He's usually right about these things. If he's not, let it ride. it will come out in the wash. Considering the amount of free help and knowledge he has given the forum members, he's earned that level of respect. |

If you are willing to spend money to get more hp, you should be willing to spend the money to maintain the engine with premium fuel like BMW recommends and not forcing the ECU to back off a few hp when it detects low octane fuel.

The N52 that came in the F10 & F25 runs the MSV90, no one has cracked this DME yet and its going to be sometime before anyone does.
MSV90 = no tuning options. End Thread / |

The only tool I know of that might be able to do the msv90 is Magic motorsport's MAGpro x17, its the only tool out there that has access to MSV/D8x DME bootloader (So you can cloning). |

Its a really small market late 09 - early 11(i think) they made that DME. Most tuning companies have to spend a lot in R&D into something they most likely will not see a return on, so they end up skipping over the oddball computers.

I know right, BPC is great. I'd drive all the way to north carolina or wherever they are located just to have my car tuned there. |

Sorry to here about your tune, Hopefully your local shop will be able to tune it. If not, here is a really crazy idea....
Considering the commonality between BMW models, is it possible to swap a few pieces of hardware on the engine such as the throttle body or sensors and run a MSV70 in your car? You can do an ISN delete on the MSV70 and tuning is nearly open source. You might need the advise from someone with good knowledge of the MSV70. I understand one of the forum members has already figured out the ISN delete, you can ask him. |
