I just installed my BMS filter and love it. The sound of the turbo spooling is simply badass.

To be honest when I had the BMC filter, I really didn't hear the turbos more audibly than the stock filter

Well the BMS and BMC filters are 2 different filters. One is a panel filter (like the stock one) that is used in combination with the stock airbox. The other is a open filter that completely replaces the stock airbox. Obviously there is a huge sound difference between the two.

I have had the ITG and BMC filters, and just switched to the BMS intake the other night. So far I am pretty happy with it; definitely feel more top end than any of the drop-in filters, and the sound is just

Don't make filters into a popularity contest on the forums, do your homework and ask the right questions. Anyone that wants the best purposefully designed filter will be gravitated towards the Streamline, not only based on the technical aspects but because they can also appreciate that someone was convinced that something could be made better and was not satisfied with the more popular offerings.

There are currently only 2 people in the world that can make a fair comparison as only 2 Streamline filters for the 335 have been produced and distributed to 335 owners for testing. Whether those owners have compared it with the BMC is not known.

So until other people actually have a Streamline filter, this comparison poll is based on pure speculation and opinion.

But the one thing that is sure, is that the Streamline is a better filtration device and has dyno proven gains.

yes, that is correct, as massive harmonic vibrations were experiencied with the stock pleats at the upper rpm range which created extreme turbulence and therefore increased restriction levels which is bad. Changing the pleat direction alleviated this situation.

The only way anyone could ever find this behavior is with extensive flow testing. We did our homework on this filter.

Here are some filter questions to ask as it is easy to make a filter flow good but to make one that flows good AND filter good is a whole other story:

1. What is your filtering efficiency and what testing standards were used.
2. What air flow (CFM) was this filtering efficiency tested to (lower CFMs can skew results favorably)
3. What contaminate grade and feed rate was used.
4. What is the smallest size particulate that can be captured.
