You do realize the MLB season is 162 games long, correct...?

You do realize Yankees won 6 straight right before losing 7 straight, correct...?

You do realize even though we've lost 7 straight, we're only 0.5 games behind 1st place Red Sox, correct...?

You do realize we're getting Jacoby Ellsbury and Adam Warren back very soon, to bolster our bullpen and outfield depth, and we just got arguably the best closer in all of baseball back from DL, correct...?

You do realize we lost 4 straight to an Athletics team that has played extremely well at home over the last few seasons, correct...?

You do realize our losing margin for the first 6 games of this 7 game losing streak is a mere 1.5 runs/game, correct...? And our wining margin for the 6 game winning streak before it was 8.3 runs/game, correct?

Nice to see the old timers back on the field. Posada looks like he could give Sanchez a day off, and go behind the plate. My favorite Yankee, Bernie Williams always brings back great memories of the Yankee championship years. Now let's get back on track Yankees, and start winning.

This is the 3rd week in a row that they have been losing games by 1 run. Only a game outta first but they have a big test this weekend at Houston. Lets hope Michael PinHead throws a decent game tonight

Yeah, it's been a crappy last 3 weeks. Seems like Tyler Clippard's straightened out, and our starters are giving us more than 3, 4 innings the last week or so. Tanaka had a solid last two outings. Upside looks pretty good. C.C. and Adam Warren should be coming back in a few days as well.

I'm more concerned with all these kids. Yeah, they're hitting right now, but baseball is a statistics game...they'll start slumping soon enough. Appears Headley's kicking off his slump right now, after a sizzling hot June month.

Let's see how this Houston series goes.

I'm thinking WAY down the line time, however, Judge and Clint Frazier (assuming he's on the roster by next season) will save the Yankees $400M from paying Bryce Harper when he becomes a FA after the 2018 season. We don't need hitters, just pitching. Torres should be healthy by spring training, however, Greg Bird is a reincarnation of Nick Johnson. He cannot catch a break and is always injured.

And Chris Carter returned which means we're in trouble

Frazier is supposed to join the Yankees in Houston tonight. If true and he does well, even 1/2 of what Judge is, no Bryce.

Wow. Story of the season, one thing goes right, everything else falls apart. If you told me before the season started Betances and Chapman would combine to give up 4 runs in the 8th of a 6-3 lead and blow a game for us, I'd never believe it...
