Total cost to adapt the foamer to my electric power washer is: 17 - 25ft hose 13 - gun for gas pw 12 - quick disconnects ---------------------- 42 I also spent another $30-40 on a wasted experiment trying to get it working with those fast twist connectors. The only inconvenience with the current setup is that I power wash with the electric hose/handle combo, then have to switch to the hose/handle combo with the camspray. You have to turn off the water at the faucet and the power to the pw (very important). Now I can do it without turning off the water at the faucet. I'm trying to devise a new way of doing this without having to swap the hoses/guns. I saw a y fitting for a faucet and thought about just not power washing and just using the foamer AND rising with just a garden hose, but the y fitting is so restrictive because of the ball valve that was not an option as it will restrict water going into the pw. Now, if I can only find a y fitting that I can put at the output of the pw, that would solve this problem of swapping between hoses. Does something like that exist? haha... yeah you! hey thanks for letting me borrow your picture ![]() Gary |

I got http://www.pressureparts.com/Coupler...t-331308X.aspx attached to the camspray and I also bought http://www.pressureparts.com/Pressure-Part-116003.aspx ... I guess that hose is useless now
![]() When I connect camspray + hose + PW, water drips at the nozzle...like it's losing pressure somewhere. Such PITA ![]() |

Personally I don't see the big deal with foam guns.......I'm a huge detailing freak and while I think it looks kind of cool to have all that foam it doesn't do anything different than a high quality car soap in a bucket. No Offense to foam lovers, just don't think they are worth it/do anything special

i agree you can get almost the same level of 'marring avoidance' using a $35 gilmour this way coupled w/ a pre-soak and two bucket wash:
![]() w/ that said, if i already had a PW i'd probably spend the extra money and get a foam cannon just for the novelty of it. |

You can do that with a regular garden hose and sponge! Once you foam with the canon, you'll realize it's faster and easier to get the car clean using that method. Your way will work too (no doubt).

Gary,
Can you list the part numbers for the gun & hose you got at Lowes? I think this is the best/quick option for me. Thanks! |

i just got a new gun and hose for my karcher 1800psi from lowe's..the cam spray fit right on..any leaking from the brass fittings was taken care of with some ptfe tape..
1 lowes gun/tips and lance 2 50ft hose from lowe's 3 camspray foamer from everypressurewasher that's it...no quick connects though..maybe i should look at the ones that came with the gun..but a 10 second twist is fine to deal with!!! i will probably upgrade to quick connects though. also for 75 usd..don't you think the cam spray could be made a little better? |
