I'm not expecting anyone to come from e90post but posted this purely on the off chance someone might want to join us...
lol!

I'd be well up for it if I still had a Porsche, always next year

The E30 would no way get there and back not on the road at the moment anyway.

The MX5 would be an absolute pathetic excuse and I don't think it would make Derbyshire - Germany round the 'ring and back without some sort of major problem.

I may (depending on what I find) have a 320d by then, not exactely suited I don't think

NEED ANOTHER PORSCHE - NOW!

Contact the hotel:

I am staying at the Goldener Anker Hotel in Adenau (20 mins drive from the Ring). Rooms are comfortable with breakfast at around €95 per night http://www.giffelsgoldeneranker.de/. Email them direct at info@giffelsgoldeneranker.de. I recommend you BOOK NOW like I have.

They are very friendly and speak English. I have stayed before and its a great hotel although less grannies than in Derbyshire...

ROFL grannies, Derbyshire, not all of us!

Checking the hotel out, I can read and write German but am absolutely hopeless at speaking it, tried and they can't understand a word I try to say

I'm well excited about this now think it will be so good

Also, I could have some news .... I may be bringing a car, if I can get rid of my E30 and the MX I've seen a lovely E30 325i original Motorsport. Will see of course but it sounds reliable!!

If not as BMWBailey has agreed to transport ten pairs of high heels I'll be coming alng anyway

Just heard from the Anker hotel and they DO have a room from the 6th Sept for 2 nights - €99 Euro per night inc breakfast. So ive asked them to reserve the room but havent as yet given them any card details. Will confirm 100% over next couple of days.
