I've been debating a Surface Pro just for portability with having it with me when i am traveling.
My desktop at home does just fine with the ultra wide 4k.

A couple of years back I purchased the Surface Book with the Performance Base for the sake of having the best I could get. I'm still confident that the Surface Book is a better system than the Surface Pro just because of the keyboard interface to the tablet. I am an owner of an original Surface Pro as well which I bought when it was first introduced. The Keyboard/tablet interface is too flimsy for me. I hate to think of the number of times I've been using it in bed and have been bonked in the nose by the tablet as it fall forward into my face.

want good screen - Dell XPS OLED but all Windows laptops are slow and have horrible battery life
want good screen and FAAASSST and last all day - Macbook Pro with M1 or M2 chip I have been using Windows since the day I was born I tried the M1 macbook and the Windows now feels like 1000 years behind |
