To the OP, you will find out that the hot air / cold air argument is worthless on turbo cars. 9 out of every 10 supra's have an intake pipe hooked to the turbo with 3" of piping. People will argue about the effieciency of the turbos vs larger, more efficient single turbos. The fact is the BMS is dyno proven by multiple people to produce a solid 8 rwhp and 13 rwtq gain (equal to the other intakes). Second the IAT's have been monitored from the OBDII port and are not affected much at all. Finally, many, many members will verify it pulls harder and sounds unbelievable. The bottom line is the bang for buck, it is unbeatable. Save your money and get the BMS, and spend the rest on some more mods.

Thanks all for your help and advice. I should have known that when I started this thread, that it would be alot of people recommending whatever they have on their car. I am pretty much between the BMS and the UR. While I did look at the Logic intake, for that price I'd rather spend a little extra and get the UR, since I think it looks a little better. Now, between the UR and BMS, the UR CAI, imho, looks alot better than the BMS, and looks like something that belongs in a Bimmer. On the other hand, is it really worth nearly 5x that of the BMS? Dino sheets I've looked at say the UR is a little better in the performance, but again, is it worth the extra cash... I guess that is something I must decide for myself. That extra $400 would put a nice dent in the borla exhaust I plan on getting. Decisions decisions!!!
What is the RR one you speak of? Cheers, M |
