so they are issuing me a refund and no need to return the part. however that was after some excuse that made no sense about the manafacture forgetting to add it on or whatever lol. anyways the conclusion is:

would it bolt up, yes
it's it a better alternative than 100s$, yes
unless I needed to replace it would I use it, no
maybe I'll get bord and try to fab this one

ironically I was browsing Amazon, and came across the correct pan with the scoop from the same manufacturer iirc. it was $100 if anyone wants to pursue this part.

Garage List
The one I bought earlier this year was closer to $100 rather than $30 but was a direct fit including the vents. Detecting leakage will be a plus over the OE fiber part. Cross referenced with OE PN 51757205471 rather than 51757129341. They remain around $90.
