I'd suggest using a wet towel (Red is better, longer wavelength) and wrap it around the steering column. make sure your key is in your left pocket. I take it you have Comfort Access ?

Your urgent desire that the car should be working doesn't influence the severity of the warning ....

I gave you a decent reply suggesting you simply call the Dealer.. You followed that advice, and immediately got an answer.

What more do you need to know ?

I don't think that Carlos is the sort of guy who 'really knows where his towel is'.

That's a 'one-off' limited edition, Carl- knocked it up in the last few minutes, as it is.

Carl- this is what I did!

Carl,

A few simple steps to show you what I did:

1-Where can I find a picture of Carl's car, which might look like it could be going around a roundabout?

Ooooh......he's got an E90Post Garage!

2-Need a pic of a roundabout

3- A bit of 'selection', 'copying', 'pasting' & giggling:

Hope this shows you how I buried the DXB in its own submerged lane going around a roundabout, due to a steering lock failure?!
