a guy i know used to sell me packs of colored 50 15"x15" microfiber towels for $15, but i haven't talked to him in over a year. they didn't last more than 5+ washes though. i guess you get what you pay for.

Eshine.ca and chemicalguys.ca are great, but if you dont want to order online you can go to Van and Truck World and buy the mothers brand micro fibre gold with gold band around the outside but they are a little pricey. We are pretty screwed here in Ontario for really good microfiber cloths.Chemicalguys toewl are great and Im sure they are the same as the cobra.I cant tell the difference.

I have both costco and detailed image towels, and they don't even compare, the detailed image ones are the softest towels I've used and that won't mar soft jet black paint. I only buy the costco towels for wiping down wheels, wells, jambs, since they're so cheap I don't mind throwing it away after a few uses.

If not, perhaps a few towels from America's equal of pep boys, kragen's, autozone would do for now. However, if you are seriously going to get into this, I strongly suggest a waffle weave towel from a site such as detailedimage.com. If you were to try it now, it wouldn't make that much of a difference, but after quite a few washes, you'll begin to appreciate the waffle weave!

Happy detailing!
yeah, u know it LoL... im slowly piecing things together, getting the information and eventually ill actually have the balls to try it out on my new BMW hahaha. the tough part is finding the good information opposed to the bad information.

This thread would be a great example of that LoL.

I have heard so many people talking about the cheaper brands and so forth, very few seem to understand that it can do damage, which is why i wanted QUALITY names...not just the name of the store they bought them at. that would be a pretty good indicator that they arent the GREATEST of MF's

nonetheless, thanks for everyones input.
