well, I ordered some £20 winpower 6000k efforts off amazon and set about replacing them yesterday. It's not a difficult job on the E92 but time consuming. Allow about an hour and a half to do both sides. You need to remove both front wheels then the front portion of arch liner with are held in place by 17 8mm screws and a 10mm plastic nut each! once you've got the liners out all is there for you to see. 5x torx (sorry, didn't take note of the size) screws hold the cover on the back then you're into where the bulb is. Very easy to swap out and the new cheapies have made the world of difference to the Philips (originals?) that I took out. The lights are now excellent!

Thinking i might get a pair. Although mine is super bright its abit to yellowish and dont blend in wwith my oem lci front DRL. Any pic of them fitted? Wanted to see what kind of colour it gives out.

It’s hard for me to say because they replaced very dim and yellow originals so even sealed beam units would be an upgrade!
To look at them next to my oem yellow angle eyes they look very white but at night the light given off has a sort of greenish tinge to it, maybe it’s the start of the blueish colour the 8000k ones give off? They also seem to take a second or so when first switched on to come on fully which I don’t remember the others doing. However, the bi xenon full beam is immediate so I’m happy enough with them, especially at £20!
