nice outcome, but im not too sure about painting them. If you get cited for those, gonna be a pain to replace those lights.

I used VHT night shades and 1500 grit wet sand with clear. It looks better in person, I took this morning with my phone.

1. I used 400 grit paper to ruff up the top on the lights where I wanted to paint. 2. Taped off the bottom part with blue painters tape. 3. Used about 4 coats of VHT Night shades I ordered from Pep Boys (spray can) waited about 15mins per coat 4. I wet sanded with 1500 grit and then 2000 5. Next I used 3 coats of Automotive Clear I bought at local Automotive paint store ($24.00 for a can) 10 mins between coats 6. I also wet sanded this with 1500 and then 2000 grit 7. After that I used rubbing compounds to bring out the shine and finally a wax. The whole thing took about 2 days because of the coats needing to dry. When I first bought the car I used 35% smoked flim but it wouldn't lay flat on some of the sharps angles the E90 light have. The VHT spray works much better but you really have to take your time. xPaulBaiLeyx- if you live in Huntington there is a local store called Super AutoBac off of beach... Its were I got my spray stuff... You should go check it out. If you end up doing it let me know and I will tell you which one I got. I would say most people recommend this japanese one over the VHT Night shades. But its purely your choice.
