I know I'm bring the dead to life, but did you secure a picture of what the injector looked like. Im having the same issue. for months. exact symptoms. but if its just a injector that would be the grace of god vs. valve issues or lifters. Ive been weary hearing its possibly a camshaft.

Nope. Sorry.

The tech showed me the injector. The bottom half was literally scorched.
