He had pretty good communication with me. As of now, I'm just waiting for them to arrive (should be here Friday). He sent me a photo of them wrapped up for shipping in bubble wrap... now that I'm reading your issues, I seriously hope he then put them in cardboard and didn't just ship them in bubble wrap and tape! Surely UPS wouldn't accept it without a box, right? Haha, either way, luckily I used PayPal which *supposedly* will protect me, but I wouldn't hold my breath on that. Hopefully they will arrive in good shape.
And hopefully he just made a one-time mistake with your exhaust there, but I totally agree that he could at least get back with you and apologize, if nothing else. That said, I at least have to give him one thing: He isn't price gouging with used BMW parts like many out there do - though I know that provides zero solace when the item you receive is majorly damaged. Keep us updated on your fix/install over in the N/A section! |

Got the exhaust repaired and went ahead and got the shop to install it today. I took it to Gary's Automotive on Harbor Boulevard in Costa Mesa and I actually couldn't be happier with the service I received there. If I could weld I could have taken care of this myself but I guess I'm overall happy with the $700 I spent here.
