alright so, i went tire hunting, and apparently there are no run flat measurments in the ones you've provided, but there are RFT in 225/35/19 and 255/30/19
im not too good with tires, but im guessing these are a lot smaller in width... |

Yup. As I've stated in a previous post, the 19" RFT don't come in the recommended size of 235/35/19 front and 265/30/19 rear. The 225 & 255 tires would work just fine but you will have no rim protection.

Well not exactly exposed- it's just that due to smaller widths, there is less rubber to stick out to protect the rims. It's not really a big deal because even with wide widths, if you're going to hit a curb it's almost guaranteed that you will get curb rashes.

We recommend removing the runflat tires at the same time you remove the paper over your floor matts. That's what we'll be doing on our 335i at least

Got the M6 reps with non-runflats, sizes recommended here. I bought the mobilty kit (There is a more generic one made by Conti and sold at tirerack that I bought). Then I set up a spare tire kit. When I'm driving around town, I just have the mobility kit in the trunk. If I am going out of town I throw the spare in the trunk with a jack kit. Worth the piece of mind. read this on the spare tire option I came up with: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=86651 |
