I'm probably going to be in the minority here, but when I graduated high school my parents gifted me a new Rolex GMT Master II.

In all honesty, I got much LESS for graduating college and from there beginning law school (I guess my gift for graduating college, other than family dinners and what not, was my parents helping pay for law school)

Although all are great ideas, he is a recluse and trying to get him to go anywhere/do anything is touchy subject. Just got him a laptop for Christmas last year. When I spend money on hookers and blow....I mean......IF I spend money on hookers and blow it's going to cost more than double the amount on legal fees after.

Meh....this is risky. I wouldn't mind to get him a job at my place of employment. In fact I would very much like him to follow in my footsteps. The problem with this is that they have been raised (not by me) to have a particular mentality. The mentality prevents them from keeping/staying at one job for more than 2 months. It saddens me but they do not have my work ethic and I'm not going to put myself in an odd spot with my employer. If they were to show me some dedication and work ethic in the future, then absolutely.

I really like this idea as well. Both of the boys have an account that their grandmother has put $100/month in since birth. Not sure when she plans to let them have access but by my calculation, they should each have over $21k in there.

I had them playing golf for a while and they eventually decided it wasn't for them. Its a shame, I really enjoyed the 3 of us spending time on the course. Was lots of fun. Currently he is working on restoring a 67 Jetstar 88 and I wouldn't be opposed to buying him parts or gifting cash for parts.

It's High School. He hasn't even turned 18 yet....and wow man, that's a helluva graduation gift.
