How long does it take for Roundup to start working?
On perennial weeds, brush and trees, it will take a week or more before you see the leaves of treated plants wilt and turn yellow. It could take two weeks to completely kill a plant. Treated plants turn completely brown and die in one to two weeks after Roundup application.

NO!

I want to spray them with something where I can watch them curl and die while I'm spraying. Come across any Agent Orange from your prior law enforcement days / any military buddies?

Leave the dandelions. They are good for bees, and you can eat the leaves.

The FDA has been testing for Roundup in the food supply, and they found it in EVERY SINGLE FOOD TESTED, except broccoli.

Stop killing us and the planet to have a stupid green lawn.

Know of a particular store there that carries it?

Home Depot (US) doesn't have it.

Yeah I am not against the ban in this province as it means there's no real "jonses" to worry about, everyone's lawn is shite.

I'd spray them with poison first then you can burn them off. If they are dead they burn much quicker. If you just try and burn fresh weeds it takes longer to burn them off. I have this one....

It actually works well it just takes awhile to get used to setting the propane at the right level so it doesn't go out in the wind.

Looking at the latest offering from HD I am not sure I would buy this one. Don't think I would want my hand that close to the business end while trying to get it started.

None of that crap works. Order yourself a bottle of Killex.

If you have a pool, mixing a solution of 1/4 HCL (acid) with water in a spray bottle works wonders.

I wouldn't recommend spraying it in your eyes, but as soon as it's on the ground it's perfectly safe (not acidic enough that it's going to burn your kids or your dog, but very much acidic enough that it kills plant life).

Edit: Disclaimer: Never add water to acid. Always add acid to water. Pool chemicals are dangerous, using them for any reason other than that printed on the label is not recommended

Going full Rambo with some chems sounds cool, but you should check out the MSDS on Roundup before you use it anywhere near humans (or anyplace that will eventually drain to a water source). It's real nasty stuff - essentially a milder version of Agent Orange (and no joke, I see the awful health effects of that shit on a daily basis - it just takes a decade or two for the cancers or organ damage to show).

Personally I DGAS about dandelions (our groundhog loves them, neighbors hate them, so its a win-win), but I'd pay to use one of those mini flamethrowers, and I hear they do a nice job of instant spot-killing.

Your problem is using liberal spray - try a conservative spray - it knows how to get stuff done!!! LOL Make Your Lawn Great Again!!!

OK libs please do not respond it was a one and done joke.

Biggest key to weed free lawn - water and fertilizer to make your grass thick... this will lessen the opportunity for new weeds to grow. I dig out weeds as oftenas I can and I cut my law at least twice a week when the dandy's are growing to prevent the "germination" of their seeds

Don't worry - I don't think the liberals are reading this thread. It's about work. It'd be like Superman taking an interest in kryptonite.

I'm sorry...that was my one and done too....no more, I promise.
