Wasn't rice when I did it to my Lotus and wasn't rice when I did it to my BMW but it's apparently rice when you do it to something American or Japanese.

Probably, but it depends. Like anything it can go too far and with most Mopar and Vette owners over 40, that is usually the case.

Not rice then since I'm under 40.

Hmm. Wouldn't it be "corn" on an American car?

No you wouldn't.

Good buddy of mine has a demon and his has over 2k miles with it still on.

No issues what so ever.

I'm more curious how this makes the car a "ricer"? I mean you could say the same thing about custom plates and stickers Bimmer guys like to use.

2000 whole miles? And yes, Euro rice is as much of a problem as domestic rice.

Lol. Yeah had him pull it into my drive one day and it's a good thing that guard is there.

Honestly, something corvette owners should do as their shit gets scrapped to hell in basically the test drive.

His other challenger is a Saleen built limited run sxs570 that's straight sex basically and makes the demon seem mild. It sees more windshield time than either. Let's not discuss his big block legit size golf cart with Chevy 572 with an 871 blower cranks just at 1k hp at the rears with a curb weight of 2300lbs..... borderline death trap.

How does he know? He left it on. Trust me, on a Charger, it will scratch the PAINT. Your buddy's splitter is just black plastic, not painted.

The air dams in my Vettes always scraped, but never the actual splitter or bumper.

Even worse than the trend is this terribly written article, which takes an incredibly serious tone against something that isn't that serious. What the hell happened to Jalopnik....

Same thing that happened to all of the Gawker sites, quality people left for greener pastures and the place went to hell in a handbasket.

Whole family of sites is pretty much just a virtue-signalling SJW-fest at this point, but I still check in on Jalop, Deadspin and io9 from time to time.

Didn't Jalopnik get bought and then, as you said, went off the deep end with super liberal virtue-signalling SJW-fest of shit?

Well....Why not spray them black and call it a day? Not a bad accent for protecting an expensive car in my opinion.

Yellow? Meh to each their own. But, black? Yes.

A friend is actually going to be making them in carbon fiber. I gave him mine to make the mold from.
