Nice gains. You should do a stock dyno to compare against your tuned dyno. Installing/uninstalling the chip shouldn't be too bad. Also, how are you measuring boost? Do you have a gauge or are you just going by what they told you? Try to get the boost print-out during your dyno run as well, if you can. I'd be interested to see the graph.

Enjoy the tune, and be safe out there!

Check out 6SpeedOnline for some other guys using this:

PES has been involved with Audi Tuning/Supercharger systems for years and has a good reputation on the Audi forums. A year or two ago they became involved with the Lotus Elise/Exige flashes and Supercharger systems and all I heard there was positive comments. PES is a newcomer to the BMW market, but I'm sure if my Lotus experience with them and some other reviews I have read in the VAG world are an indicator they will earn the same good reputation in this community as well. No interest in PES, just a satisfied customer.

It seems to be a remarketed Fabspeed product.

Here's a blurb from another site:
This is piggyback systems(a box connected to TPMS/TMAP sensors line to DME, not re-flash like Dinan), nice to get it for free.
BTW, PES didn't develop this in-house, they seems to partner with fabspeed tuning.

I am still in disbelief of how fast my car is right now... 16 psi down low, 14 psi held through the midrange, and slowly tapers to 12 psi by redline.

Installation was a breeze! just connect 2 boost selenoid tubes, plug 1 wire into the ECU harness, and connect it to the PES tuning module, and thats it... it can be installed in about a half hour.

Just letting everyone know about this product because nobody here really seems to know what it is.

I am going to the track tomorrow night to do some runs, my car is BLAZIN fast now!!!
.

Where ya going, Island?

Yes I will be at Island tonight... I will post up some timeslips... I ran a 12.82 at 109.91 with just a turbo tuner... everything else stock on a 6 MT... so it will be interesting to see because my car is A LOTTTTTT faster than with the turbo tuner on it. This thing flys now, and Tony from PES said that the Air/Fuel ratios were spot on too.

Maybe they are making real power... Most tuners lately are too concerned with making the fuel trims and the injector duty cycle to "appear" stock. Post up those times tonight!

Ok I will have videos of the runs too. As long as the track is sticky... I should be getting VERY close to 11s if not actually running them.

What tires and other supporting mods you have? Do you have a boost gauge?

Easier said than done, but good luck. The last guy who ran 11's was on the bottle (although he claimed not to be...but we know better) and had a whole laundry list of crazy mods from left field as well . G/L

btw -- in all fairness, from your sig, it seems you also have the BMS dual cone air intake, DPs and an exhaust -- catless or catted??? Also, I take it (to go for the low 12's or high 11's) you're running on DR's and race gas, right? In any event, G/L!!!

Dissapointing night... not for the car, but the track. Island is notorious for terrible track prep... which they did none of... but I DID however manage 12.5's all night WHILE spinning all the way through first, and some of second. 11's are here... I just need drag radials... this car has A LOT of power.

And SFLGator... the only mods I have are Dual cone intake, Britalman exhaust (Factory Catted DPs), and this PES tune...

I was running my General UHP tires at 22psi tonight and could not hook.

I need to go to Englishtown to get a real time.

Nice times; you should still post your timeslips. What were your 60ft. times and trap speeds? Also, did you run on pump gas, race gas or a mix?

Even w/ DRs and better track prep, I think you getting into the 11's would be tough; maybe, just maybe in the late fall with colder, drier weather conditions...shaving off >0.5 sec. is no easy task.

If you were spinning, then you should have some good MPH....

whats the point of running general's at 22psi? they aren't drags.

just go get some ET's and show us some numbers.

how 'bout those blown up PES 1.8T audi's w00t. nothing like bent rods and pistons thru the side of the block? Do they make that Audi V-6 eaton kit? man i've seen a few folks tear up cars with those recently on the b-6 forum. you can blame bad install only so far. In reality a tuning company will take in the bum if there is not excessive room for safety or clear instructions. Engines blowing up will haunt you forever. Your fault or not.

if tuner AA has zero blown engines and Tuner PP has 10 in history; what does that say. that there's 10x more product sold from Tuner PP?

It will make them softer and have more surface area on the ground for the launch.

I've found:
1. doing a burnout on street tires will bring out oils to the surface, which in turn will cause wheel slip
2. all you are going to do is shred the tire by using a real low pressure start higher be sure to measure between runs as tire temps will go up every time on a hot day.

but #2 is silly with an open diff car with so much torque. just throw some ET's or DR's on for real.

I wish they'd just ban street tires at the strip they just eat up the vht and 5/10 the dumbasses will do a burnout or drive through the water box and make a mess.

Et's are a trip man doing 106mph on tires with 18psi is like driving on water/ice. it's really sketchy. I wouldn't do it on a 50K bmw. I'd do it on a $15K camaro that run's 11's to 12's all motor though.

i mean you are gambling your car. 50K is alot of cash i can't afford to pay for if you wreck it for whatever reason.

I am going to keep my car stock besides the intake and exhaust because I don't feel right messing with stuff in the ECU box, because I would like to keep my warranty as long as possible.

And as far as doing runs over 100mph on 22 psi... this car isnt THAT fast where this would be a problem... its not a gamble at all.
