Trust me, on N55 x drive you are fine on OEM coils and plugs with FBO and tune.

The only time you should consider 1 step colder NGK plugs is if you have a hybrid turbo.

You're fine if you go with 1 step colder or OEM with FBO + tune. Just depends on what you just feel like doing.

I already gave my experience that 1-step colder is good.

You replied to a post where I am saying that there is no need to pull your plugs back out to gap them down smaller. Two completely different things.

Since I see lots of reference to "one step colder" with no reference to part numbers, I wanted to point out that on the BMS website it's all relative to the stock N54 plugs.
So the: "NGK 5992 1-Step Colder Spark Plug" is actually the same heat range as the stock N55 ZR5TPP33S plug.

One step colder would be the NGK 97506 N20 replacement ones.
