SMG/sunroof e46 M3. 3/8 of a tank of gas. Light weight wheels and intake.

^nearly stock (same mods as stig’s car— 18” RG-Rs, CSL intake, nothing else) fully optioned e46 M3, so pretty representative range of weights for stock e46 M3s between tbose two cars.

3800lbs-plus?
Probably another ~100 lbs, so ~3740 lbs. Maybe getting closer to 3800 with 19s and iDrive.

scale/car pics and car details (including gas level) to get on the list!

I did most of the roof labor myself. The panel was $1200 IIRC, during a GB, and the install was ~$500 with me doing the work. Probably ~$3000 to pay someone to do the whole job.

Unless you're super hung up the look of the CF roof, I'd just seek out a non sunroof car-- the steel roof is only ~4 lbs heavier than the CF roof (and is 45 lbs lighter than the sunroof car).

I found it interesting most all the BMWs were lighter in the right rear than the left rear. I guess mufflers are heavier than batteries.

Scales aren’t leveled so corner weights aren’t necessarily accurate. Total weight is.

Without driver, as the goal is to compare car weights, not driver weights...

... but I'm only adding weights with scale pics.

Full light spec (option wise) F80 M3 CS. Scale pic taken with a full tank of gas so listed weight corrected accordingly (all weights on the list are for a half tank).

52/48.

Annoyingly, that's pretty much the same as my e46 after taking 300 lbs out of it.
