Did I mention my car is rattle free?
Good to hear it worked out.

Question: what happens if your waste gates are faulty? I just started my car and started to drive off...got a CEL, one tailpipe was smoking, car shakes like an addict who needs their fix, and sounds like a diesel exhaust. (and smells like a boet exhaust in water). Could this be the issue? (thanks Spool for the advice btw =))

Did you ever have a pre-29.2 car, and if so, can you say if the lag is back to the pre-29.2 levels?

Also, can someone who is still experiencing this issue post a clear video or audio clip of the sound? I do have a fairly obnoxious fluttering sound, almost like a backfiring lawnmower, when I decelerate in 1st gear. I had always thought it was normal, and I am now wondering if it is somehow related to the lag...

Edit: for frame of reference, my noise is much like the noise you hear at 1:19 of this video:

Yes, I know that is not a stock exhaust, but that is basically what mine sounds like on deceleration.

I am fairly sure I have the latest version of software, whatever that is now, because before they replaced the wastegate actuators, they did a software update that took several hours, that was about a month ago.

As for lag, I am convinced that I have less lag now than before they replaced the wastegate actuators. The car is rattle free and it runs good, sounds good, and I notice the lag I was experiencing between low gears has improved. The car is running tight!

my dealer sucks.

so i ran over a rock that dented my exhaust and at the same time, my actuators were going bad. so i brought my car to the dealer to have them fix the actuators and get me a quote on the dented exhaust

they blamed it on the dented exhaust, quoted me more than 3k to replace the exhaust. well i had an aftermarket waiting to be installed in my garage, so i did that this weekend

no comes my predicament... will they deny my warranty because of an aftermarket exhaust(catback, removing the secondary cats)?
