No. Mine just auto pops and the follow me home works. But: My follow me home function stays on just for a second. if I press again, it stays again just for a sec. After pressing a third time, it stays on for longe. Dunno why... any ideas?

Sounds like you have the HEIMLEUCHTEN_ABBRUCH activated

No problem! Tried activating this on a friends car thinking it would enable to cut off the lights by pressing the button again... That was not the case
Also an update on my car, it does indeed release the hatch on long press. So it has been working like it should this whole time |

If your FRM have codingindex 12, you can use the attached modified daten file. Just remove the PDF extension and replace FRMFA.C12 file in NCS expert.

Hello
Hi! So I tried all of the above steps and no success. Maybe you guys can't help me out.
First of all, my car is a BMW Z4 E89 (2013) with NFRM3. The car has comfort access also. I already had all the codings for Follow me home done on the car (all HEIMLEUCHTEN, including HEIMLEUCHTEN_FUNKSCHL) In the CAS module I set SONDERTASTE_PANIKALARM to panikalarm. I use NCSexpert and NCSdummy. They are working correctly and I know how to code with them. If I press the remote button 3 (trunk) shortly the car doesn't do nothing. If I press 0.5s the trunk opens If I keep the button pressed for 2second nothing happens. Any ideas or help is very much appreciated! Thank you. |

You should have the option in Idrive on the FRM3 with no coding needed.. On page 86 of your owners manual set the pathway timer to how long you want the follow me home light to be active.. They will auto turn off so no need to push a button.

I've managed this part was pretty straight forward, then I went to look in to welcome lights
block for welcome lights in FRM3_E89.C32 is used for DRL in FRMFA.C12 which is the daten file mine uses to code in NCS expert, I am wondering if I could replace DRL with WL in this block, I can live without DRL, I can turn on the angel eyes myself |
