It's too bad you didn't get a vid of the run. I would have loved to see it. It's pretty cool running an 8.19 when an e92 M3 ran a 8.7.

I'm still a firm believer of this filter in combination with the RPI scopps.

The nittos are awesome! I'm running 245/45 17s. Seriously? The secret is the tires! It's plain and simple. There's a bunch of people who think that wider is better and that's not the case in drag racing. You want a tire with flex, so the bigger the profile, the better. If I could run a 16 inch wheel, then I would have done that. It's mathematicaly proven that if you air down a tire to half the pressure of the original pressure, then you just doubled the footprint of the tire. I didn't air down to half, but I went down to 24 psi. Also, get the tires smokin hot before the run. This is key! Like I said before, it all adds up so I'm sure it helped.

I couldn't be happier! The setup that I have now is absolutely perfect and I wouldn't want to change a thing. Catless DPs, high flow secondary cats, X pipe, Borla single muffler. It might not flow as well as others, but it sounds the best out of all. Of course, that's my subjective opinion.

nice job man! my car isn't too far off from you there
what do you think of famoso compared to irwindale? i've never been to famoso and irwindale is probably the fastest track i've been to. is famoso much better than irwindale? i mean obviously your timeslips show that it is, but how consistent is famoso? have you been there multiple times with similar results? btw, i'd love to go up to famoso with y'all next time there's an event.

Well, last time at Famoso, the variables were a little different. I was running the JB2HR on pure 100 Octane, and the conditions were perfect that day. It was a little humid at Irwindale that night. It would be very interesting to see what I could do with the V3 in the 1/4.
