But I noticed it hasn't been for a while now... any of it even non LL01.

I made a post on Red Flag Deals to see if anyone know if it still goes on sale looks like it does, last time was black friday.

They also reminded me actually that Costco had the Castrol stuff 24/7 priced at the sale price of Canadian Tire but I don't they they have 0w-40 ll01.

And yeah I get what you feel, if it works for you I mean no reason to change, I just personally would prefer to follow owner manual guide for oil.
Yeah I haven't seen it at Canadian Tire so they might have removed it and just went with the regular Castrol edge full synthetic blends. They tend to go on sale pretty often and that's what I like lol I do my oil changes pretty frequently so I try to avoid spending too much for that aspect.

Like I said, I'll check again next time I go and I'll find out that way. I just won't stress myself over it since I've had zero issues.

Anyways, Canadian tire here only has 0w-40 LL01 approved oil so.
Walmart Canada recently had a great deal on 5W40 Castrol LL-01. $27/5L jug. Grabbed a case of 3 for $90 shipped/taxes in. Can't go wrong!

Damn not bad. Altough personally I would prefer the 0W-40. But I think they have it. I just did my oil change so I've got 12 000KM or 1 year to find some 0w-40 on sale haha should have enough time

I bought one of those nice BMW branded 1 liter bottle holder abd bought a bottle at Canadian tire. I gotta admit I only found one for the A3/B4 0W-40 and couldn't see the 5 liter. I really hope it's not removed and just out of stock, since they had the boxing day. I'm sure it's still there tho.

I got a jug of that Castrol 0w-40 European blend for $25 on amazon. I think it was like $2 cheaper than Wal-Mart.

Yeah but you're in the USA.

Here we are all Canadians discussing Canadian pricing and availability haha.

It's not even sold on Amazon.
