Im sure youre not referring to me since I do have an AA product (the one in question) and the proof that it "didn't" work with 29.2 or v81 came right from Mike at AA on a phone call. As I said in my post above that I am not an electrical engineer so Im glad to hear that someone from AA chimed in and gave us an explanation of the fuel.

I don't think the post was directed towards you.

Please install it with out following steps 13-16. It will work fine with the update.

No, but there will be a slight torque loss in the lower part of the power band since the car will be running on the factory fuel map; it will be richer which is the reason for the loss in torque.
