I just realized those 2 photos are my next 2 weeks. Ski trip up to Whistler this weekend, then off to a little fishing village in Mexico next weekend. Life is tough.

I really liked Whistler. That, actually, was with the same company that is having the convention in Monaco. I actually could've skied when I was in Whistler, if I'd known that you can ski there in June.
And I'll be back in Vancouver in August, for a Alaska cruise with a different company (likely my last with that company, as they dropped their most popular product).


I wonder if I would get better food responses here if I talked about how my hot cousin from Manhattan was coming........

You can, however, it's way up on a glacier and is not great. My company does an annual summer retreat to Whistler. Whole company plus spouses, kids, etc. Close to 150 people. It's awesome. Hiking, mountain biking, pool time, way too much good food and drink. I actually like Whistler even better in the summer. Still, very much looking forward to this weekend though. It's been a good snow year.

Only if you post pics of her! My wife and I did Monaco as a day trip during a 7 day visit to Nice. We are both major foodies and honestly, I can't give you a single recommendation between them. The best food by far on that trip was what we cooked in our apartment. Amsterdam, Paris, Hong Kong, Macau, Barcelona, Iceland, Germany, Italy, I'll talk your ear off with recommendations for food. Nice, Canne, and Monte Carlo were all kinda lackluster. Sorry to be a Debbie Downer.

Come to Finland! I'll give you 6 hours of jetlag and then you guys can experience the normal house wife life of a Finn completely free of charge! I swear, I'm the normal housewife around here, since I don't know any other but the stories some meanies have told here can't be true. I'm sure I'll get a five star review from you all!

Food is on me, I'll buy extra cheese for you guys and I got a half a cow in the freezer so you guys won't starve.

My life usually goes weird early.

5 am: "come, the dog is sick"
5.15: "Oh, okay, cool, I won't do that again. So liver illness and no small fish for the dog?"

5.45 am: "So youre sure she'll be fine?"
"No, but she is 16 and all vets would tell you to put her down where as I tell you not to do stupid shit."

6.45am: porridge making time.
7. Am : wake up the kids.
8 am: send them to school, call the vet and handle the dog.
8.15: forestry, basically raking.
12.45 pm: panic while finding someone who can fetch the tiny kid from kindergarten since I'm in the fucking woods still.
3 pm: lunch. Prepared with the kids
4 pm: homework.
5-8 pm: stupid kid shit and grocery shopping and library and still fucked and also cooking dinner.

9 pm: all kids want a last personal chat.
10 pm: I'm off duty
10.01: I have to seriously do my research and go through numbers and then i have to invest enough to something I can profit enough in 10 days to cover the costs of my most expensive day in the last year.
Midnight: phone hour, I answer texts.
1 am, bed with a book.
3 am: second or third book since 7 am is the time I wake up at.

I do so hope you will decide to come here and enjoy your housewife experience provided by Lups.

I'll do the cheese but for the love of god... help me sort out how the remote controller to our tv works. I really want to watch one movie when I have the time.
