Diesel motors have those characteristics.
If that is a fact than my next 3 will be a diesel.

I don't know about the U.S. version, but the European version is _not_ faster than the 335i in a straight line. I've raced my friend in his E92 335i on several occasions, and in a straight line he is always faster. However, I will say that the 335d "feels" faster in many driving conditions simply because of the added elasticity of the engine. I can accelerate in more gears than he can, which is great in everyday driving. Also, I think the 335d is more comfortable to drive since the power is delivered earlier meaning you can move it around with your toes so to speak.

I don't remember the spec of the U.S. 335d, but as I recall it has even fewer bhp than the European one. Mine has 286bhp/580nm stock. Maybe someone in here can clarify?

That is the filler for the AdBlue (Urea) solution. I spent a good amount of time trying to figure that out. The Press Releases didn't mention the cap in the bumper, at least not the ones i read.

US spec will have 265 hp, and the same torque as the Euro.

and the sound of a tractor...

Diesels are great. They are very fuel efficient and with todays technology, the method of burning the oil has been refined. In every way, this car is superior to the petrol version...

except for the sake of driving. Diesel, no matter how well developed the engine is, will never top the ferocity of petrol. i PRAY that the diesel trend staarts to pick up in the US as it exploded in Europe. It's a smarter and more efficient way of travelling than recent failures such as hybrid cars. Personally, however, the petrol 335i will always be a winner for me. Then again, its all about preference.

The 335d is gonna be sick. People are gonna be tuning those things to produce an insane amount of power and torque. I'd say that the N54 community has to watch out!

Don't be a smart-ass. There was hardly an info written in the post.

I like how the front look in those pics. But I'm still not too happy with the LED lights.

Is that the filler tank?

If you look at the pic right above that one that looks like it has the cap off of it, you will see the gas cap door located in its normal spot on the passenger side.
