SG - Sparkling Graphite sorry!

Re Satnav - having been lost around Nuneaton for 30 minutes last night, I'm inclined to agree about it being rubbish...!!!! I really dont know about it as an option....

Re Bluetooth - Sheps, do you know if the parrot kit will pair with N95 properly - could be another reason to go with it....

White does look good at the moment....but for how long?? May well pass this to Mrs after 2 years so will have to see what she thinks!!

oh dear, my sympathies.

It is possible to fit after-market nav neatly and the navigation is better, but the iDrive undeniably looks great.

I would definately have the integrated bluetooth though as it works perfectly.

Once you get used to the Idrive/nav i love my 2 humps....its is a little cranky but i havent had any issues as you can always call up assist and then they will send you the details.

Bluetooth is brilliant in this car.The 3g iphone pairs instantly and fully and never drops a call or out at anytime. The N95 never fully intergrated with the nav/bluetooth.

For me the essential options are idrive, bluetooth and usb.

Really don't care about anything else.

I would go flat black and coral if you like the red, but prefer the jade with piano black trim or the antracite/grey wood.

Wood in a BMW??? I didn't realise you were 65??

Oh, and I would add Logic7 if you plan on keeping the car for a while, it is a superb system and worth every penny.

White with Saddle looked good to me when I was looking at E92/3's on the AUC site.

Never been keen on the look of nav-equipped cars - the double-humped dash just doesn't do it for me.

USB is worthwhile as an option, as are Bluetooth and probably the Hi-Fi upgrade.

Not so sure about the 19" 225 wheels. They look awesome, but are easily damaged (the 'spoke' part of the wheel is more prominent than the rim so I imagine kerbing them causes merry hell). Plus they come with the Bridgestone tyres that you just can't buy anywhere apparently. My E93 came with them, and I'm paranoid about kerbing them and not looking forward to having to change a tyre for any reason.

Re the wood - I know, I know, but the standard aluminium trim just looks cheap imo.....had it in the E90....

Funny how you dont have idrive...............

Interesting that you say flat black - any particular reason why??

Re. "sounds" - I'm not an Ipod'er tbh so usb not impt to me...and I'm, not even that bothered about the system as a whole - might go for upgraded speakers though...

Not being an ipod'er is even more reason to get the USB option. You can get an aftermarket ipod kit, but as of yet getting an aftermarket USB kit is proving a bit problematic. USB allows you to stick a cheap memory stick in there eg 4gigs < £10 and have access to your music via the steering controls. I'll be paying £500 (maybe more) to fit it to me mine - if and when possible through BMW. And if not - doing it the DIY route as per Gizze.

I think just the 335D and 335i share the lowered Sports suspension regardless of trim - not sure about the other SE variants.

The four cylinder SE versions of the coupe do not have sport suspension.

The difference between the SE and M-Sport (4-cyl)

+ Sports Suspension
+ Sports Steering Wheel
+ Short throw gearshift
+ Alcantara Rooflining
+ Sports Seats (with thigh support and adjustable backrest width)
+ M designated kick plates
+ Body Styling
+ 18" staggered alloys (19" 225M as option)

M-Sport holds it value far, far better.

Definitely add USB, a must have option for 90% of buyers.
