Guys - don't worry about the Nav price - it is NOT changing.
Believe me, BMW is getting their money. On an almost fully loaded 335i the total Wholesale price is going up almost 3%. That is despite many option prices staying the same, Logic7 getting cheaper but not being included in the 335i, some options being included now (e.g. HD Radio now bundled in the Nav).... See the official BMW documents - the price of the Nav did NOT change for 2009, despite the all-new system. Again, this is because the pricing is based on what the market will bear, NOT on manufacturing cost. Also, who knows - maybe the manufacturing cost is the same or cheaper for BMW now (newer components, new supplier contracts, etc). Plus, it's not like the new iDrive (as happy as I am about it, although we'll see how it actually works in practice) is significantly better than the competition's versions. Check out the one coming on the new 2009 Acura TL to see what I mean.... |

I have my build sheet in front of me right now. Navigation wholesale price is $1910, MSRP is $2100. The option code is 609. I hope this helps.
